I love and work with all things tech and data related, which includes but is not limited to privacy and data, technology disputes, outsourcing and commercial contracts, blockchain and cryptocurrency, IP, mediation, general commercial litigation and both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

I’m a technology enthusiast as well as a technology lawyer – basically if it relates to technology in any way then there’s a good chance I can help, and if it’s something exciting in the tech world I will be into it! Also, a DJ and radio presenter, currently with a Sunday morning show on RTHK Radio 3 as well as a podcast on Clockenflap Music. I also have one of the largest vinyl record collections in Hong Kong

Andrew Beasley is the Regional Director for Clifford Chance’s Innovation in Action programme in APAC.  He is responsible for Innovation and Transformation activities across our office in the region.  Andrew works with the Partners and Clients, looking at how legal services can be delivered most efficiently.  With over 20 of experience working with professional service firms across the UK, US, Europe and Asia Pacific, where he has helped transform legal services.  Since moving to APAC, he has helped set up the Firm’s first Innovation Lab in Singapore and established a team of change professionals focused on legal tech, process improvement, legal project management and alternative resourcing.  Andrew and his team work closely with the Firm’s Research & Development and Data Science teams looking for opportunities to further enhance how legal service can be delivered.

Alison Laird is a Senior Director and the Global Head of Change Management and User Adoption for Morae Global, a technology-enabled, integrated solution provider for legal and compliance functions around the world. With a passion for delivering innovative legal services, she understands how people, process and technology combine to deliver successful business outcomes. Alison helps clients manage the people side of change delivering tailored innovation initiatives, communications and training to increase engagement, and accelerate user adoption and ROI as the legal profession continues to augment the delivery of legal services with digital solutions.

She is an Advisory Board Member for the Centre for Legal Innovation, and a Teaching Fellow at Australia’s College of Law for their Master of Legal Business course, delivering sessions on legal innovation and entrepreneurship in Australia and Asia. Alison’s former roles include the Head of Innovation and Project Delivery, APAC for Pinsent Masons and the International Director of Implementation for DLA Piper in London.
