What is a DLF event

The Digital Leadership Forum is a membership community of innovative digital leaders from world leading brands. Each month we host interactive knowledge-sharing sessions for our members where you can share experiences and gain fresh insights to drive your digital transformation strategies.

What happened at the event

In December 2020, members of the Digital Leadership Forum met over Zoom to discuss ‘Innovative digital marketing strategies for 2021′.

Representatives from leading organisations including Pfizer, Unilever, BDO, Intel, Baker McKenzie, GSK, BT, AXA Health, LV=, AstraZeneca, Royal London, Allen & Overy, Chaucer Group, AXA Investment Managers, EDF Energy, Coutts, Selesti and many more explored how digital marketing is shifting in the wake of COVID-19 and how companies can respond to this positively and creatively.

Attendees heard from Gemma Joyce, Senior Content Manager at Brandwatch and Stephan Beringer, CEO at Mirriad discuss points on implementing a tactical approach to marketing in which teams value responding to change over following a plan and the latest tools and applications set to make an impact in 2021.

We then heard a panel discussion, facilitated by Selesti and featuring Anil Tirunagari, YouTube Business Head Vietnam, Google and Kasia Lukaszewska, Senior Digital Engagement Manager at Unilever. Some of the key topics explored were:

  • How to start adopting an agile marketing approach
  • Why having a strong digital presence is more important than ever before
  • Which tools and technologies to prioritise in 2021
  • How to continue evolving your brand values and messaging
